River Mill Academy is a North Carolina Public Charter School currently serving approximately 800 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Our goal is to assist parents in their mission to develop exemplary young citizens with superior academic preparation, equipped with analytical thinking skills, a passion for learning, and a virtuous character, all built upon a solid foundation of knowledge. Our curriculum is challenging and demanding in an age and grade appropriate manner and our standards are high.

Summer Drivers Education Classes
Alamance-Burlington Schools is excited to offer six Drivers Education classes this summer. The in-person classes will be located at three schools: Cummings High School, Williams High School and Hawfields Middle School. We will offer three virtual classes as well! Space is limited and students can sign up for only one of the six options. Registration for classes goes live Wednesday, June 9th at 8:00am. Return School Materials - May 27, 28 & June 1
Please return any school materials - such as textbooks, loaner Chromebooks, Lenovo laptops, loaner hotspots, library books, etc. - to the school on the following dates/times: Thursday, May 27 - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and Friday, May 28 - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Items will be collected in the middle school gym. You will not need to leave your vehicle. Just follow the concrete drive around to the middle school gym entrance. Staff will be stationed near the doors to meet you. (Please label all materials with the student name. Don't forget to also return the chargers for laptops and Chromebooks.)

Fall Sports
Interest Meetings for Fall Sports on May 25
Students currently in grades 5 through 11 who are interested in participating in fall sports at River Mill Academy are invited to attend an interest meeting with their parents on Tuesday, May 25. Meetings are scheduled for the following middle school and high school sports: boys soccer, cheerleading, dance team, cross country, and girls volleyball.
