April 25, 2017: No tutoring.
Please make sure your child has pencils and paper for class. Many are coming to class unprepared. Thanks!!!
Tutoring is Tuesday afternoons. Please give 24 hour notice and make sure your child's ride is here at 3:30. Thank you.
If possible, please make sure your child has a pair of scissors for class projects. Thanks!!!
With the beginning of a new semester and nine weeks, classroom supplies are running low. If anyone would like to donate loose leaf paper, paper towels, or tissues it would be greatly appreciated.
Tutoring: November 8, 2016: 2:45-3:30. Students wanting to stay need to sign up by Monday, November 7, 2016. If students do not sign up, they cannot stay. I want to make sure I have enough space and supplies. Furthermore, please make sure your child is picked up by 3:30. Thank you!!!!
October 19, 2016: Grades will be posted by Friday afternoon. Due to interruptions with our internet, I have been unable to post grades. Further, I am unable to load the program on my home computer. Thank you for understanding!!
Pictures from the ACC awards assembly will be posted ASAP. I am in the process of obtaining permission to post. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Again, thank you for all your support. The kids did very well representing River Mill.
On August 29, 2016 we will begin our first novel unit in ELA. We will read The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. This is an exciting and high interest novel that I am certain will capture and keep your child’s interest. Currently, I have one class set which means students cannot take the book home. If you child would like his/her own copy you may purchase one from Barnes and Noble or Amazon.com. I do encourage students to have their own copy but it is not a requirement. As stated, we will begin the novel on August 29th. If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me.
