The following statement, written in 2020, still holds true. We all know that the classroom learning model is changing rapidly and no one knows what the average school day will look like in a week or a month or a year. Conditions can change instantly. We all must adapt to the circumstances. I will be setting up the curriculum as if the entire course will be taught remotely. From there we will adapt to whatever directives we are given. The remote content will also be posted allowing students to keep up with the lessons when they miss school days or have connectivity issues.
Expectations: I will be posting notes, assignments, and messages in Canvas and by email. Students are responsible for and expected to check their school email and our internet based platform (Canvas) daily. In the event of a disruption to the daily school in-person meetings, there may be virtual class meetings using MS Teams. Parents/guardians should check Powerschool for student grades and Canvas for assignments.
Virtual Office Hours: 1:15 - 3:15 M - Th. Parents/guardians may request a meeting by email.
In the classroom: When we are in the classroom, the following rules apply:
1. Arrive on time, ready to learn.
2. Keep hands, feet, objects, and inappropriate comments to yourself.
3. Use electronic devices, and internet based resources appropriately.
