Course Description: In this elective course, students will be presented with concepts of Dance at an introductory/intermediate level. This class is a performance-based class under the category of physical education. Students will be expected to participate daily unless there is an illness or injury that prohibits movement. The topics learned will include ballet, jazz, modern, tap, musical theatre, world dances and choreography.
Textbook: Variety of resources
Required Materials / Dance Attire:
Composition Notebook
Female: Sports Bra, Leotard or Fitted top, Leggings, and Socks
Male: Compression Shorts under Athletic pants or Leggings under shorts, T-shirt and Socks
Footwear: Recommended if accessible but not required for this course
