3rd Grade BOG Reading Assessment

3rd Grade Beginning-of-Year Reading Test - February 16, 17 & 18
Posted on 02/01/2021
3rd GradeAs part of the Read to Achieve law (G.S. §115C-83.1) passed by the General Assembly in 2012, all 3rd grade students take the Beginning-of-Grade 3 (BOG3) Reading Test to establish a baseline measure of beginning third grade reading skills. This assessment is usually administered at the beginning of the school year; however, due to instruction being fully remote, the state has extended the testing window until March 12. This test is required to be administered in person. We will administer the test in three separate sessions on February 16, 17, and 18. **The February 18 test date has been postponed until February 22 due to inclement weather.**
