Cheer Camp
Cheer Camp - Saturday, September 14

The high school cheerleading team is hosting a Cheer Camp on Saturday, September 14 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm . The camp is for anyone between ages 3 to 14 and costs $40 per camper. If you bring a friend, their cost is only $35. Campers will need to bring their own lunch or they may purchase a lunch of pizza, chips and drink for $5. Campers will learn cheers, chants, dances, stunts, and tumbling. Registration Forms must be turned in to the front office by Monday, September 9. Burlington Royals Reader Appreciation Night - August 9

On Friday, August 9th, the Burlington Royals will be holding their "Reader Appreciation Night" for students who complete six hours of reading. By turning in their sheet before or on the day of the game, they can receive their first, second and third base prizes. By bringing the sheet with them on the day of the game, they will win the home run prize of free student GA seat tickets to the Royals game against the Danville Braves, along with a free T-shirt, both of which can be received at the gate. Student/Parent Orientation Day - Wednesday, August 7

The first day of school will be our annual “Open House” on Wednesday, August 7. The schedule is as follows: Student’s last names beginning A – G 8:00 am – 9:45 am; Student’s last names beginning H – Q 10:00 am – 11:45 am; Student’s last names beginning R – Z 1:00 pm – 2:45 pm. All families should report to the High School Gym at the opening time, as listed above, to attend a brief orientation. If you are not able to attend your assigned time, simply choose one of the other times that best fit your schedule. After the meeting in the gym, students and parents will have time to meet classroom teachers, sign up for bus routes, enroll in before and/or after school care, and join our PTT organization.
