River Mill Academy is a North Carolina Public Charter School currently serving approximately 850 students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Our goal is to assist parents in their mission to develop exemplary young citizens with superior academic preparation, equipped with analytical thinking skills, a passion for learning, and a virtuous character, all built upon a solid foundation of knowledge. Stay connected and show your River Mill Academy pride during Virtual Spirit Week October 26 to 30. Monday: Pajama Day - start the week off in your PJs! Tuesday: Camo Day - why "blend" in when you were born to stand out? Wednesday: Tie-Dye Day - add a "splash" of color to your life! Thursday: School Colors Day - we are "RMA" strong! Wearing purple, black and white, you can't go wrong! Friday: Favorite Character Day (no masks or face coverings) - Dress up like your favorite character.

Veterans Day
Veterans Day Holiday November 11
River Mill Academy will be closed on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of the Veterans Day holiday. There will be no virtual classes for students on this day and the school office will be closed.

Progress Reports
Progress Reports Issued on November 13
Progress Reports for the second nine-week grading period will be issued on Friday, November 13. Every student will receive feedback on his/her performance and current grades. This information will be distributed by email to the student at his/her River Mill Academy email address and to his/her parent(s) to the email addresses we have on file.

         STUDENT WORK SHOWCASE         

Mrs. Smythe's 6th grade Social Studies classes have been studying Ancient Greece. One of their projects was to design and draw a traditional Greek urn.
