Testing InfoElementary School:

Elementary students in grades 3 to 4 will participate in the North Carolina End-of-Grade (EOG) tests for Reading on May 10 and Mathematics on May 11. In addition, students in grade 5 will participate in the EOG test for Science on May 14.

Middle School:

Middle School students in grades 6 to 8 will participate in the North Carolina End-of-Grade (EOG) tests for Reading on May 15 and Mathematics on May 16. In addition, students in grade 8 will participate in the EOG test for Science on May 14.

High School: 

High School students enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) courses will take AP exams beginning on Monday, May 7. Students may access exam overviews, as well as sample multiple-choice questions, on the College Board website.

High school students will take final exams on May 17, 18, 21, and 22. Students enrolled in Math 1 and Biology will participate in the North Carolina End-of-Course (EOC) tests for these subjects.  Students enrolled in Child Development will participate in the North Carolina Career and Technical Education (CTE) exam. The EOC and CTE tests were designed to survey students' knowledge and mastery of concepts. Students enrolled in courses that do not have an EOC or CTE test will be taking teacher made final exams.

High school students will be dismissed at 11:45 am during testing. Students who would like further preparation for their exams may stay for review sessions from 11:45 am to 2:45 pm. They may also eat lunch at their regularly scheduled time (12:40 - 1:05 pm). As a reminder, no one is exempt from an EOC or CTE test.
